Forest Lake Farmer’s Market Kids’ Day – Ramp UP to Health!

On August 11, 2015, Forest Lake Area Schools Community Education partnered with the City of Forest Lake Parks Department to sponsor the Forest Lake Farmer’s Market Kids’ Day – Ramp UP to Health! The goal of the event was to encourage healthy eating and physical activity among kids and families. Kids participated in an obstacle course and then they were given coupons to exchange for fresh fruits or vegetables at the local food vendor stands. Funding for this event was provided by TEFFLA – The Education Foundation of the Forest Lake Area).
